Filters picks to that price band using a typical street-price estimate (not a live quote).

Attack comes in two flavours: head-heavy (Astrox / Axforce / Thruster — mass-driven, planted impact) and head-light (Nanoflare 1000 Z, Auraspeed, Bladex 800 — speed-driven, whippy fast swing). Both produce comparable shuttle velocity at this level — pick by feel preference. More in the buying guide.

Used to suggest a grip size (G4 / G5). Skip if unsure — generic guidance applies.

When set, we pull the flex target toward forgiving and drop the recommended tension by ~2 lb. Stiff frames at high tension are the main equipment risk factor for lateral epicondylitis.

Useful for doubles, where frame clashes are common. Favours head-heavy box frames and reinforced builds over thin, aerodynamic speed frames (which crack more easily).

Past racquets & ratings (optional)

Pick racquets you've played and rate them 1–5. Highly-rated picks pull recommendations toward similar specs; low-rated picks push them away. If you know the string tension you played them at, that meaningfully refines the suggested tension below.
